XWhy Do We Ask for Your Email Address?

There are two reasons that VOXopolis requires your email address. The first reason is to allow interactive anonymous communication between you and the person who receives your VOX message or question. In place of your email address, VOXopolis will assign an anonymous VoxID such as A12345Z that will allow for this anonymous interactivity. If your VOX prompts a desire for further clarification or information from the person receiving it, an email notification of the reply will be forwarded to your email address.

The second reason is to protect every user of the VOXopolis service. It is very important to verify that VOX messages sent through VOXopolis are from you and not a spammer or some other malicious person. Since your anonymity is paramount, VOXopolis recommends that you do not use a work related email address since your employer has certain legal access to those accounts.
